Explore a coating for your concrete floor. Existing coatings, moisture, surface preparation and the way you use the space come first.
Choose your scope
Tell us about vehicle use, existing coatings, cracks and moisture concerns. Surface preparation is part of the coating decision.
Compare the visual finish and cleanup requirements with physical samples. A photograph does not guarantee color, traction or reflectivity.
Describe operating conditions, traffic and downtime. Product suitability and return-to-use timing must follow the selected system.
Ask what preparation, existing-coating removal, repairs and finish system are included. Select an appearance from physical samples where available, then discuss the traffic, cleaning and exposure the floor will receive. Similar-looking photographs can represent different systems.
Confirm when people, stored items and vehicles may return under the selected product instructions. Keep driveway or outdoor coating requests distinct from an enclosed garage; the location and use affect suitability.
A plan for your property
Give a garage, utility floor, driveway or working concrete surface a finish chosen for its actual use. Options include epoxy, decorative flake and location-appropriate concrete coatings or overlays. Preparation, moisture, previous coatings and outdoor exposure determine the system; an indoor garage product is not automatically right for a driveway.
Confirm inclusions, exclusions and any specialist responsibilities in the written proposal.
Before your estimate
What determines whether a garage floor coating will perform →The concrete, preparation, product system, and cure window matter more than a decorative flake sample alone.
Good questions
That depends on the coating system, temperature, humidity, and the kind of traffic. The proposal and closeout guidance will state the applicable cure window.
Cracks can be treated when included, but concrete can continue to move. Existing and future movement may remain visible or return.
Sun, moisture, slip resistance, and product UV stability must be considered. The system is selected for the actual location rather than assumed from an indoor garage specification.
