Cabinet Refinishing / Central Florida

Cabinet refinishing.
Keep what works.

Explore a fresh finish for sound cabinets worth keeping. Material, existing coatings and everyday use guide the approach.

Choose your scope

Keep the cabinets. Reconsider the finish.

01

Cabinet painting

For sound boxes and a layout worth retaining, discuss cleaning, adhesion preparation, door handling and finish selection.

02

Vanities & built-in cabinetry

Identify moisture exposure, hardware and edges. Bathroom cabinets and living-room built-ins do not have identical working conditions.

03

Refinish or replace?

Damaged boxes, layout changes or different storage needs may call for renovation instead. Compare the condition and function before choosing a cosmetic update.

Decide what stays before choosing a color

Count doors and drawer fronts, and identify exposed cabinet ends, island panels and decorative trim. Interior boxes, shelving and hardware changes should be listed separately. Photos with doors open help explain the material and condition.

Discuss how the kitchen or bathroom will be used while parts are removed and finishes cure. Reinstallation, adjustment and care instructions belong in the handover; refinishing does not correct an unsuitable layout or damaged cabinet structure.

A plan for your property

Prepare for your cabinet refinishing estimate.

Sound cabinets can take on a different character without replacing the layout. We refinish kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, doors and drawer fronts with cleaning, surface preparation, adhesion primer and a compatible finish system. Hardware, reassembly and daily access are part of the plan from the first visit.

Preparation and work your scope can include
  • Door and drawer-front labeling and removal where specified
  • Cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and surface profiling
  • Adhesion primer and sanding between coats as required
  • Two finish coats when specified in the approved scope
  • Reinstallation, alignment review, and optional clear-coat discussion

Confirm inclusions, exclusions and any specialist responsibilities in the written proposal.

A practical decision guide for deciding whether sound cabinets should be refinished, repaired, refaced, or replaced.

Good questions

Before you begin.

Is refinishing the same as replacing cabinets?

No. Refinishing changes the finish on suitable existing cabinets. Layout changes, new boxes, major repairs, and new doors are separate work.

Can the hardware be changed?

Hardware changes can be reviewed during the project visit. New hole patterns, concealed damage, and specialty hardware may affect scope and pricing.

When can cabinets be used again?

Dry and cure times depend on the specified product and conditions. The project plan will include practical handling guidance for the approved system.
